Blog down!

For some reason I couldn't access the blog for a couple of days but it's back up again today. Having spent the last three days in Chester we are back at Waverton heading toward Llangollen. The boys stayed with us on Tuesday and Wednesday and we had a great time. We walked over eight miles on Tuesday and over four on Wednesday with the result that they were as fresh as daisies and Elaine and I were knackered! We did the city walls, Cathedral, Grosvenor Museum and Deva Roman Experience on Tuesday

then the amphitheatre and St John's church on Wednesday.

The church is well worth a visit actually. It was the original cathedral and we were given a free and very informative tour by a volunteer there. In my opinion it's better than the current cathedral.
Yesterday we set off after a massive Tesco shop. The weather steadily improved as the day wore on

and with today's excellent forecast we are staying put getting some jobs done and pegging the washing out. Could be time for the first BBQ of the year but I'll also be assembling this
It's a BBQ smoker. Should be interesting!
